EPPi® cryoboxes are designed for the storage of cryotubes at ultra-low and cryogenic temperatures from -80°C to -196°C.
EPPi® cryoboxes made of polycarbonate (PC) are provided with opening slots in the base and lid, which are primarily used for storage in liquid nitrogen containers. EPPi® cryoboxes made of polypropylene (PP) do not have these openings and are mainly used in freezers and deep freezers. Both types of EPPi® cryo boxes are produced with a transparent lid as standard. The extensive EPPi® Box range also includes opaque boxes for the storage of light-sensitive samples.
EPPi® Cryo Boxes with 10x10 compartments, in combination with the EPPi® Cryo Tube, offer the possibility to store 100 pieces of cryo tubes with external thread. Alternatively, the boxes can also be used for conventional cryogenic tubes with internal threads.
