Why do only 81 cryo tubes fit into your cryoboxes?

The answer is quite simple: it’s because you’re not yet using our super-slim EPPi® cryo tubes, which at last enable you to store 100 tubes in our standard boxes. 
You probably won’t find anyone able to explain why the unpopular 9x9 boxes were invented and have more or less established themselves as the standard throughout the world. Now, in any case, this expensive waste of space is over. 

Your specimen material is valuable, rare or even unique. You are aware of the contamination risk when working with cryo tubes. If you have previously opted for contamination-prone tubes with an inner thread and silicon 
O-ring, there is no further need to keep making this “ compromise”, which has hopefully been free of consequences. Now 100 EPPi® cryo tubes with external thread fit into the standard box of 133x133 mm. Check out the benefits for yourself.
